Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Service Technician 
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for handling, inspecting, and preparing waste for the incineration process.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
  • Loads and/or unloads drums and containers from trucks in a safe and compliant manner
  • Processes and/or stores hazardous waste materials
  • Weighs and breaks down large containers to consolidate into smaller containers
  • Samples and inspects all containers as they are received at the facility
  • Drives forklift to retrieve drums and containers from storage; operates computer and conveyor
  • Transports/positions trailers and tankers for collection of slag and ash
  • Maintains a clean work area
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

- High-school diploma or equivalent (required) 

Experience

  • Previous forklift experience (preferred)
  • Previous firefighting experience (preferred)
  • HAZWOPER Certificate (preferred)
